    2. Greetings: I have three questions of historical interest that I have been unable so far to find an answer to so am throwing them out to this web site in hopes that someone might have an answer. Replies can either be sent through this Clark site or to me personally at the following URL: JW1408@AOL.COM The latter E-mail would probably be better so it wouldn't misuse the Clark-L list. 1. The Church building at the confluence of Clark and Montgomery St. was known to me as the "Colored Church" when I was growing up in Kahoka. What was the original denomation/lineage? 2. Was what is now Lincoln St. (street running N/S just east of the Court House) ever known by another name and if it was Court St. then is the present Court St. (E/W. Street running to the south of Court House) named the same at the same time? 3. Was the "Old Mill" located just two the Northeast of the Courthouse steam power? I have found references to a steam mill which I believe to have been the one at that location and my eye and limited knowledge of Civil engineering tells me that what was known as the mill pond to the North of the structure couldn't have been designed for running a water wheel but maybe a source of water for a steam power plant.
