My William W. Bartlett was born in 1823 near Woodville, MS, served in the 2nd LA Infantry during the Civil War, was wounded and captured at Gettysburg, and married in Sept., 1865 in (then) Jackson Parish, LA He had ten children, of whom nine survived into adulthood. My quest is to find his parents. According to him, his father was born in MD and his mother was born in TN. Thanks again, Ray Bartlett
