Where can I obtain a copy of the "History of Lewis, Clark, etc. Counties in Mo."? I hope my Beckwith and Johnson ancestors would be mentioned. Thanks! My family line is traced in the book "Alexander and Phillips with Allied Families" printed in 1982. It turns out I have been searching for the wrong person, my next generation is William Phillips not Richard Dabney Phillips. William's father was Jeremiah Phillips. The Dabney Phillips we were both searching is mentioned in passing in this book, the writer being of the opinion and so am I that he was connected to my family somehow ... maybe a cousin. > >Good Luck on your search, if I happen to find something on your line I'll forward it on. > >
