My ggg grandfather was Martin Duncan Pherigo, who was married in Clark Co., MO. in 1860. I have found his name spelled in various ways, including Perigo, Perrigo. There may be some connection. Your Justice appears to be of a later generation. Martin's brother Elija Pherigo moved to Putnam Co, and is buried in the Pherigo Cemetery there, along with some other Pherigos, but your Justice is not among them. Martin had several other brothers also, who may have been in the area. Can you tell me more about him being in Clark County? In the e-mail you sent after this one, you mention that you have information from a CD on the Perigo line. I would be interested in seeing what you have.
