I am trying to find any information on my grandfather's family. Grandfather was Harry B. Northrup and he had a sister, Blanch. They lived in Athens and he was probably born at home around the end of the 19th century. I would say between 1880 and 1890. My mother says there wasn't much more than a school and a church along with a handful of farms. She doesn't even remember if there was a store.
