I have a list from the cemetery book of who is buried there but am wondering if it is possible there are more buried there. I am looking for the graves of Henry and Elizabeth Weber/Webber. I don't know exact death dates but his will was recorded 27 February 1850 and she survived him. Thanks for any help and for all the help in the past. Twila

I've "rescued" an old photograph of Maggie MCKEE WOOD taken at the P. Godfrey Studio in Fulton, Missouri. The photo was likely taken in the 1870's and Maggie appears to be in her late teens or 20's at the time the photo was taken. I was hoping to locate some of Maggie's family so that the photograph could be returned to its rightful place among the families cherished possessions, however, to date I haven't been successful in locating any family members. Here is what I have learned so far: Maggie McKee was the daughter of Dr. Robert S. McKee of Clark Co. MO. She was born in 1864 and married John McKee Wood, a cousin, in 1886. John was a prominent citizen of Clark, a lawyer who represented Clark in the Assembly, served as Speaker, and was Attorney General 1889-93. He moved to St. Louis in the late 1890s, where he died in 1926. The couple had three daughters, Cordelia, Louise and Eleanor. Cordelia married a Joseph Barroll and Louise married Charles Tirrell, both of St. Louis. I can use your help! Thanks, Shelley
Does anyone know of any Methodist churches in Washington Township that were started between 1834 and 1880? My GG Grandfather Daniel Weber was supposed to be a Methodist minister and farmer in that area. I don't know where his farm was but after retiring from farming he lived in Fairmont and for several years was on the Fairmont Cemetery Association board for several years. He was also buried there. His father Henry was a founder of Bear Creek Baptist and his brother Micajah was a founder of Liberty Baptist. Thanks for any help and your time. Twila

Washington Township is in the SW corner of Clark County and Union is just east of it. The only "town" I can see listed on my map is Neeper which I have been told is almost gone now. Sorry I can't help you with the research since I am in Virginia. Twila
