I am seeking a look up for birth records for my great great aunt Emmaline (Emma) J. Lyons born March 24th, 1872 according her certificate of death. Though, in the 1880, 1900, 1910 and 1920 census her birth year was 1873 and said she was born in Kansas or Missouri. Her parents were Alfred C. Lyons and Harriett (Hattie) Lyons. Alfred came from Ohio. Any information would be greatly appreciated! -Michael Lyons LyonsPride01@aol.com

In an old obituary, I have that my Resor family moved to Waterloo, then the county seat. ... Father purchased the Missouri tavern, later selling the hotel and engaged in merchandising at Waterloo, purchased a farm ... etc. At this point, the area of Waterloo was in Clark County, MO. I am now seeing on the internet that the location is in Lafayette County; location is 39°7'59"N 94°2'3"W [SourceGSP]. Can anyone enlighten me on the area and/or county line changes?? Thank you! Ruthie
Hi I'm looking for anyone who may know where the graves of James Hunter d. Oct 2, 1948 and Seth Perry d. 1933 are in the Kahoka Cemetary. There are no records on these graves and we would like to put up markers. I can be reached at susan@socket.net Thank you Susan Jurado

Could anyone help me find out what Lodge of the Fraternal Order of Masons that my gg grandfather..David Ray Morrison belonged to? His farm was on the Clark-Scotland Co line, so I guess it could have been in either county, but I feel that it was probably Clark Co. I have no idea who to contact to find his membership information. David R Morrison..b 1825..d..14 Jan 1916 (Etna) at the home of his daughter Henrietta Morrison Feltman. If anyone could help with this I would be extremely greatful. Thanks Nelson, AOL's mail is "home grown." You are entirely correct about those infected NOT knowing about it, but passing it on. It is sad that folks won't spend abt $9 to get an Anti-virus program (and run it daily). In the 1920s & 30s we could leave our homes without locking the doors now we not only have 1 to 3 locks per door/window but we also have Security Monitoring from Westec/Pinkerton. Sad but we must treat our "On-Line" computers the same way. An LA Times writer (Larry Magrid) publishes the "Tech Times" once a week on Thursday. Yesterday he confessed in his article that he open an E-mail exactly like my examples last week and infected half of the PCs on his "list" before someone notified him. LLoyd McDaniel Costa Mesa, CA
We had a worm yesterday. Norton's anti-virus warned us with a big red message. (Of course, we had Norton in our bookshelf uninstalled awhile ago and had a virus hit. We knew better, but were lazy).By the way, has any one seen anything of a Caroline KNOTTS, b 1845 in MO., probably Clark co? Her parents were Sylvia D. WILSEY, and William KNOTTS, my g-grandparents. Bob, PHX, AZ
MOCLARK List, The E-mail below is from Robert Siner and a great example of an attachment from an individual who 1) you don't know, 2) doesn't tell you what's in the attachment, 3) doesn't explain why he is sending it, 4) doesn't sign it, 5) uses poor ENGLISH AND 6) expects you to just "open his attachment" on faith. This is the way your computers get infected! The E-mail was from a MOCLARK List member as evidenced by his partial quote of my earlier E-mail. NOTICE......The file has all the ear marks of a VIRUS! Does anyone know who took care of the Kahoka Cemetary in 1940-1948 and if there is a plot map of the lots. I'm looking for my GGrandfather and GUncles' graves to put up markers. No one in the offices in Kahoka has info on these people.
I'm looking for descendents of Gideon Perry. His children were Jeptha, Seth, Howell, Cornelius, Charles Ambrose, George, Amanda McCannon, Margaret Lorton, and Sarah Folker.
I'm looking for descendents or anyone working on Cyrus and Sarah Folker. Sarah was the daughter of Gideon Perry of Clark County.
Yes, this virus is the one everyone's been talking about. NEVER open an e-mail with an attachment if it's someone you don't know, and even if itis someone you know, if it sounds funny. ask the sender if he or she meant to send it before opening. A few bad apples out there stinking up the barrel.
I have received the following E-mails in my accounts. Each HAD an "attached" file with a VIRUS imbedded in it. I am NOT sending the attached file but just the intro wording that is going around. See the similarity and ALL contained the same VIRUS in the attachment. E-mails contain incorrect ENGLISH but attachments are different in size and originator. What happens in this VIRUS is that it goes INTO your Address book and attaches itself to your outgoing without you suspecting anything. Norton caught this VIRUS. Who let the FREAKS loose in JULY? All of these files were sent within the past 10 days. Has anyone else received similar JUNK?
