Cook Humphrey came to Missouri from Rowan County, Kentucky and was in the Clothing Store and Monument business in Memphis, Missouri, with his brothers. He later moved to Kahoka, and had a Marble Shop there. He is buried in the Kahoka Cemetery next to his wife, Mary Mullinux Carroll Humphrey (d. 1922). Cook died in 1941. It is located in a farming area near Wyaconda and was so overgrown that I could not get into it when I visited in Oct 2001. A Cull descendant had visited and copied the tombstones several years earlier, however, and Alanson and Lucinda were on the list.
