Hale had a nephew named William Alexander Hale, born 1875, who spent most or all of his life at Linden. This 1875 W.A. Hale was my great-grandfather. He died in 1960 and I just barely remember him. In one of the censuses, there were three "W.A. Hale" men at the same time!! Mine had a son named James Herbert Hale who had a son named William Jackson Hale(Jack), who had a son named Brian Lee Hale(me). My name was changed to "Futrell" when my mom remarried. brian
