Wanda, I am looking at Archibald Payne, his brothers and their descendants primarily because of their ties to the Patterson and Hartley families and secondarily because of connections with the Guinn Store/Post Office and Wilderness Road. Am looking at the Cook famil, James Duncan b. 1833 Kentucky and his children, because I think but can't prove that two of his daughters married two of Benjamin Patterson's sons: Mathew Thomas who is identified as Nathan Thomas in the Christian County Marriage records or I think that Nathan may be Mathew and John Albert Patterson.
