I don't know if different browers do something different. On mine, you just click on simple or advanced search; a log-in screen appears and you enter public and public in the id and password fields and click login; then enter whatever search criteria you have - name, etc. and select type of record - marriage or deed or ucc. Then, when the lists come up, put checkmark beside all you want to view in detail and hit enter. Sorry, it doesn't seem to be working right for you.
