The 1915 Christian County school district boundary map which hangs on the window of the Anderson History room shows District 26 or Elk Valley occupying portions of Sections 33, 34, 35 of 27N, 21W and portions of Sections 1, 2, & 3 of 26N 21W. That would be beginning about a mile due north of Selmore, with most of the district on the east side of Highway 65 and west of Highway W but some on the west side of Highway 65. The district extended up to about a mile south of Ozark's current southern boundary. Elk Valley Estates Subdivision is within the old Elk Valley School district, and current Elk Valley road would be near the eastern edge of the school district. You would need to look at the map to get the exact outline - it's more complicated than I made it sound.
