Austin Melton, brother of my 3rd great grandmother, Mary (Melton) Elkins and of Jacob Melton who came to Christian County, livewd in Stone County. He had a son Elisha. Perhaps John Elisha was a member of Austin's family. I'm not sure, but there are several of Austin's descendants active with Stone County info.
