I don't understand the question. This is the only state census which was made of Christian County. It was made for just a few counties. This is the first time it's been digitized. Are you asking what the fields are the census when you ask for a "blank copy"? If so, they are just: name (usually surnames & initials); township; a fill-in-the-blank place to check gender, race, and an age span; and last whether they can read and write. I assume, since it was an agricultural census, that there were the usual livestock and crop questions, but all that has been microfilmed is this population portion. If the agricultural portion has survived, it isn't available for use. If instead of asking what blanks were on the form, you are interested in seeing a microfiilm, the Missouri State Archives has a copy. For the person who is having trouble with their Abobe Acrobat, I could e-mail the entries they wanted if they sent a surname (unless it's lots of surnames). I am copying the 1876 Christian Co. Agricultural census into a book I have of transcribed census information on my families. Kansas has a 1875 Agricultural census also and I found a website that had downloadable blank forms for me to fill in so the info is clear and easily readable. Just wondered if anyone knew of a site that had forms for Missouri. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mabel Phillips, Director" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, May 05, 2003 12:22 PM Subject: Re: [MOCHRIST] Re: Problem getting 1876, 1900 and 1910 census > I don't understand the question. I see. I don't know that forms for various Missouri State censuses are on-line. Most state censuses dealt with just a few counties. However, since they are property of the Missouri State Archives, they would probably know: http://www.sos.state.mo.us/archives/ Rolls of microfilm can be purchased for $15 each. The 1876 State Census of Christian County is number C1666. http://www.sos.state.mo.us/archives/resources/county/christian.pdf
The 1876 census is on film and can be obtained for use at any Mormon Family Help Center. It does not list all counties in MO.
