Thanks for your thoughts everybody. Here in Greene and Christian Counties we certainly need them. There are over 20 confirmed dead and dozens missing. Clever, Battlefield and the Southern tip of Springfield took the worst hits in our area, but Stockton and Pierce City were hit worse. Two of my uncles had siginificant damage/ lost homes (Clever and Battlefield) and each had a neighbor die, but thank the heavens all are ok in my family tree. It was a great comfort to get on line today and see so many good wishes from our Missouri kinfolk wherever they may be. One also touched down in Joplin and another one about one and half miles North of Neosho. I live about 8 miles west of Neosho. We got heavy rain, and large hail. So thankful we was missed by a Tornado. My Prayers goes to Pierce City and Pittsburg, Ks and to the others who was hit. I have three first cousins in Christian County. I talked to the one in Ozark this morning and they are okay. Haven't been able to get ahold of the one in Bruner or near Nixa yet, but it sounds like from reading on the list they are probably okay. My cousin in Ozark hadn't heard from them yet today. I wouldn't have even known about the tornadoes there yet, except for the MOCHRIST list. I live up near Chicago. Praying for you all there.Mary Spurgeon Brenda Gardner <[email protected]> wrote:Thanks for your thoughts everybody. Here in Greene and Christian Counties we certainly need them.
