Nick Inman owned a farm south of 14 along Highway M, as best I can tell. He lived adjacent to my Inmans, whose relationship has not been proved, but probably dates back to Augusta VA. That would have placed him along the Wilderness Road near where it crosses the old Mt. Vernon Road (Route 14). This would not have been within the city of Nixa, as known until recent years when expansion began to the southwest. The 1876 tax map description should place his place exactly. Randy McConnell
