    3. There are photographs of MOST Nixa High School graduating classes at: http://www.nixa.k12.mo.us/alumniwebpgs/default.html No one has found one for the 1934 class, but it does have the list, including your mother. At the school's centennial in 2000, a book "Century of Eagles" was published about the school's history - lots of stories, photographs lists of students, teachers, cook, janitors, administrators, board members, etc. It's a very interesting book. However, the chapter on sports pretty much entirely skips over the 1930's. I don't know whether there wasn't much to tell or it was hard to find. The following year, one of the members of the committee compiling "Century of Eagles", Wayne Glenn, produced the first of now four history and photo books on Christian County, the first just covering Nixa, the second the immediate circle around Nixa, the third a larger circle around Nixa and the fourth the Ozark area. He may have the information you need. Perhaps someone at the Nixa Alumni Association has an answer or can refer you to someone who remembers that period and can answer your questions.
