I am searching for information on the Nixa Eagles,the girls basketball team of the years, 1931,32, 33, 34. My mother,Josephine (JO) Stewart played on the team as a guard, I believe. She graduated from Nixa Consolidated High School in 1934. I have her diploma,and some other information, but I really would like to know if the information is true. Also if I could fine a picture of the team. I am trying to write her life story and I wanted to include this in the story. If anyone could help me, or send me in the right direction, I would appreciate it. Her father was Lester Stewart, and her mother was Etta (Shawley)Stewart.
