Their parents were James Mattison MELTON and Mary Jane PENDLETON. There were two different MELTON families in Christian Co. My family came to MO from Cannon Co. TN and the family of Dr. Stephen Decatur MELTON came to MO from Indiana. I don't have a lot of information on their children but would like to have some if you would want to share with me.
