Rick ELgin; I just saw your note re. Howards in CC, MO. I am also researching Bennetts in the area. They are my brick wall. I am looking for parents &/or sibs of Mary Isabella Bennett Mitchell. Her dad may have been Samuel Mitchell. She was supposedly born in Howard Co. but we really do not know that for sure. Isabella married Wm. C. Mitchell, in Taney Co., the part that later became Christian Co. They lived near Garrison.
