    3. Mabel- Thanks so much for your response. What I have been looking for is a map of Christian County to give me reference points, such as how close is Nixa to Sparta. For those who live in Christian County, this would be (as my kids say) a "DUH!" but I live in California and haven't been lucky enough to get to Christian County yet. I searched the Christian County library and genealogy websites and came up empty handed, but found this site-maybe it will help others. http://ozarks.smsu.edu/LocPage/County/Christian/ The 1920 Clason Map was very helpful for me-it has things listed that aren't on the current map.
