My gg-grandmother Missouri Tennessee West Hollingsworth was born in 1854 in the area of what is now Wilson's Creek, but after the battle, her father moved the family to his father's farm (his father was Annas West). She always said she was from Nixa, and since she was raised on her grandfather's farm, which was located in Porter township, it was probably the part where Nixa is (or nearby).
