I guess I'm showing my age, but as I recollected, my family took the road that crossed the "slab" at Nelson's Mill site (where Wilson's Creek Baptist Church used to hold baptisms) and then went across the Blue Springs bridge on the road to the east. The map now shows the bridge leading to the county line and the road joining FF at the Milford Owen home. There would have been no reason, apparently, to cross both the slab and the bridge. Of course, I was just a kid riding in the back seat of a car who considered that part of the country really scary. I've never driven on those roads myself. Randy
