Hi, I have been following your Stillings listings because it is so close to my Stallings line, the John Stallings that you mentioned being in business with Casebolt is my ggg-grandfather, John Edwards Stallings, he was born in Wilkes County, Georgia. You can find what little I have been able to put together on Rootsweb under the database meg-9 John Edwards was a trapper, trader and ran a keel boat up and down the White River, mainly in the Marion County Arkansas area. His son Thomas Benton Stallings became a captain and had a paddle boat which he piloted up and down the rivers after the Civil War.
