My grandfather Elias Stillings lived in Douglas County and married Cassie Nelson who lived in Christian County. They lived closer to Ongo. Her father was Elbert Nelson and mother was Drady Johnson. My dad is named after Cassie's dad. His name was Elbert Stillings. We were all born in Douglas County next to Christian County. Cassie's old homeplace is still standing. I don't know much past Elbert and Drady. I have just started trying to do a family history. If I can help you in any way, please let me know. I live in Bois D'Arc, just outside of Springfield. My brothers and sister grew up down there but we moved to town when I was two. So I don't know as much about it as they do. Phyllis
