    1. [MOCHRIST] Re: Still Looking for Payne-Hartley connection
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Hartleys, Thomas Patterson (Patterson Cemetery, Greene Co.), McCroskeys, Avens, Sanders, Faught, Patton, Noe, Chrisman, Doran, Lasley, Miller, Casebolt, Bruton, Hyde, Campbell, Stillions/Stillings, Caldwell, Isbel, Park, Harmon Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/ZMB.2ACI/1664.1.1 Message Board Post: Jim, Yes, you have the Archibald Payne to whom I referred in my posting. The children that you list are from his marriage to Jane Hartley. After her death, he married Elizabeth Young Yarborough and had additional children. Think John Croskey was Croskey not McCroskey, there were Croskeys living in the Highlandville-Selmore area in the nineteenth century. I have gathered information on both the Larkin Payne and Archibald Payne family and descendants, also on the Hartleys, Thomas Patterson (Patterson Cemetery, Greene Co.), McCroskeys, Avens, Sanders, Faught, Patton, Noe families from the central part of the County and the Chrisman, Doran, Lasley, Miller, Casebolt, Bruton, Hyde, Campbell, Stillions/Stillings, Caldwell, Isbel, Park and Harmon families from the eastern part of the Christian County, also Greene and Webster counties. Only perfectionism has kept me from just "putting stuff on line". Is there anything that I can provide you? Kerry McGrath
