Dear Jerry, I agree with you about the Ozarks and I never even lived there. We often stop in Springfield and spend the night while driving from Dallas to Indiana to visit our daughter. One October we decided to stay a few days so I could do a little research because my father's Russells came from there. Besides visiting the court house and library we drove the back roads and found Dodson Cemetery and the land where the Russell farm was in Washington Township.
