Kerry-- Sounds like an interesting research project you have ahead of yourself. I only know that the McCroskey's were Presbyterian when they were in Washington County VA. So I don't know if that is a clue for you or not. But maybe a starting place. Sorry I didn't know about your research project sooner, I was in Greene/Christian County over the weekend and might have had a minute to check into the Presbyterian history.
