I apologize in advance if my inquiry is not appropriate for this site. I do not know how else to reach others. Thank you - Candace Hamilton Conradt

It would be a real break for me if we happen to be researching any of the same relatives. I will respond to the names you cited, and give you the most distant relative for each name, and their relationship to me. Kaufman: My grandfather was Charley, of Bruner, Mo.; His father was Noah N., of Newton County, Mo.; his father, Benjamin. I am searching for his father. Anna Lou Campbell-Kaufman, Ozark, Mo, wife of Charley Kaufman; her father was Thomas William Campbell, mother Sarah Jane Woods. I am searching for information on both. I live in Boise, Idaho and I am surrounded by Mormons. Genealogy is a very important part of their theology and they have been super helpful to me. If you should happen to have the PAF software from the Mormon web site (It's free at http://www.familysearch.org/) I would be happy to send you my ancestry files and source documents by mail or email. Thanks again Jack Kaufman 4250 Glenwood St. Boise, ID 83704 (208) 376-5053

    3. Shirley, do you have the burial site of Jacob Pruitt and/or Nancy Morrisett Pruitt? I have his death as 3-16-1883 and hers as 11-19-1901 but have been unable to find where they are buried although I believe it was in Christian Co. Nancy Alzy Gooch you mentioned was my grandmother. Her parents were Orlena Elizabeth Pruitt and James H Gooch. Thank you, Kaye ksmith21@dc.rr.com

    1. Re: [MOCHRIST] Patterson
    2. Kaye, Checked my notes, yes they are related. Based on the research done by Faith Grapes, Richard Montgomery, Betty Cavner found in the Ozarkin and Rootseb World Connect Project, the Thomas Patterson who I am researching is an paternal uncle of your William Hamilton Patterson. Thomas B. Patterson born 7 Mar 1778 in NC, died Feb 27 1851 and is buried in the Patterson Cemetery, Wilson Township, Greene County/James River valley, Thomas married ca. 1814 or 1815 in NC to Jane Gates. Reportedly he is the son of Samuel Patterson II and Martha Ramsey. Thomas's older brother Andrew Patterson who married Jane Shaw was the father of your William Hamilton Patterson. My focus has been on Thomas and Jane Gates children. However, have gathered what information I could on Thomas's parents and siblings, since they settled in Greene, Webster, Dade? counties as well as in Arkansas and then a younger group came out and settled in south east Missouri. Anything you would like me to share? Tell me about William Hamilton Patterson... Kerry

    2. Would like to hear more about the Pruitt families that were mentioned in the Roll Call. I have a sister-in-law that has Pruitts in Christian Co. We know that there are some buried in McConnell and Flood Cemeteries. Some of the family were out of Taney Co. MO. I have a Jacob wife Nancy in notes with a grandaughter Nancy Gooch. Is this the same Jacob Pruitt mentioned? I don't have the info on this family. My relative has just moved into the area and we have planned on checking it out just as soon as she gets settled. I do have a William Riley Pruitt b. 28 Feb 1854 d. 14 Dec 1924, bur. McConnell with wife Mella in my notes but that's about it. Would like to suprise my s-i-law with info. Shirley Moore
