    3. Austin Melton, brother of my 3rd great grandmother, Mary (Melton) Elkins and of Jacob Melton who came to Christian County, livewd in Stone County. He had a son Elisha. Perhaps John Elisha was a member of Austin's family. I'm not sure, but there are several of Austin's descendants active with Stone County info. Margaret Ann "Peggy" Milyeu was born November 1821 in Overton Co., Tennessee and died January 23, 1908 in Christian Co. She was married to Martin Fisher Melton who was born December 10, 1817 in Harrison Co., Indiana and died August 13, 1870 in Bradleyville, Marion Twp, Taney Co. Missouri. They had 9 children.     3. I am seeking information on the location of his burial. He was born July 22, 1824 in Rutherford Co. TN and died December 8, 1898, near Highlandville in Christian County. His Wife, Mary Elizabeth (Hester) Landers died December 2, 1887 and is buried in the Prospect Cemetery. Since all of the older members of the Landers family are gone we have not been able to locate his burial site. Any help will be appreciated. Jean (Landers) Martin.
