    3. If you live near Ozark, you can come to the library to get them. We are on the hill above the rodeo arena in the city park or a block east of Riverside Road which leads to Riverside Inn - most people familiar with Ozark know where at least one of those is. We're on the corner of Parkview and N 4th Ave. Or you can look at one of the on-line maps to find us. Three books would be $36. If we need to mail them, that would be about $3 postage. Just make the check out to Maxine Wilson and mail it, with instruction about what you are ordering and the address to which to ship them to: Christian County Library, 1005 N 4th Ave., Ozark, MO 65721. 3. John Mitchell wrote it. He died a few years ago, but his daughter continues to reprint it occasionally. She brought by several new copies a couple of weeks ago. It's 11.60 plus shipping if someone is unable to come by and pick it up. I suspect that many places which carry books of the Ozarks also have copies to sell. By the way, though this is off the topic, Maxine Wilson recently sent over the last copies she made of the books she transcribed of Christian County records. We have a few each of the two-volumes of the 1900 Christian COunty census - $20 for a set; and a few each of Marriage books 1, 6, 7, and 8 - $12 each. These censuses and marriages are on the transcribed records website, but I know some people still like to have a paper copy at hand. If shipping is wanted on any of these, that would be added cost. 3. Jim and others, I wanted to update you on what I have found out about a book on Jackie Johns' murder. There is one being written. I have been contacted by one of the authors. Jim, you mentioned that you knew some of the suspects. If you want to be interviewed, I can give you the contact information. They told me that they wouldn't use a name without permission. I'm trying to get my dad to talk to them. My father worked directly for her father at the time of Jackie's murder. He knows a lot about the case. He mentioned a suspect I had never even heard about before. He was leary about talking about it but I think I convinced him to at least talk about how it affected him, the company they worked for and especially her father.
