Indenture: John Fanning and Polly Fanning certified by clerks 24th day of February 1847. Advances 80 acres to his daughter her full portion of his estate. *Transcript on file at the courthouse of Claiborne Parish, LA. an inventory of the estate of Thomas dated 27 Dec 1855. *There is a document in which Mahala swears to tutor the minor children, Hetty Thomas, Thomas H. Benton and George Washington English. And one which James H. English swore to be the undertutor for the minor children. * A document showing Mahala as the administrator of Thomas' estate.
