Reynolds born 1837 in Livingston Co. MO.(Mother named Mary ( McMurtrey ?) born abt 1809 in E.TN) Died 1904 in Cedar Co. MO. Buried in Omer Cem. His Wife Sarah Belcher (possible Mother Jane). Sarah was born 1839 in MO. Died 1897 in MO. Buried in Omer Cem. Stephen also married a woman by the name of Josephine. Stephen was in the US Army Corp. Co. C 6th MO Cavalry, Jan 1862-Oct 1864 Children: Robert L b. abt 1858 MO William b. abt 1861 MO Adolphus Fernando b. 4 April 1868 Clinton Co. died 17 June 1943 in Dade Co. MO. Married Nettie Minnick (daughter of Noah Minnick and Estel of Dade Co. MO.) and Emily Roland (widow of Harry Minnick, son of Noah Minnick and Estel)20 April 1897 in Cedar Co. MO. Charles Edward b. March 1878. d. aft 1943 Stephen W.'s siblings are John b. abt 1829 in TN Mary K b. abt 1831 in TN James b. abt 1832 TN Sarah b. abt 1834 MO Thomas b. abt 1839 MO Elizabeth b. abt 1841 MO Robert b. abt 1843 MO Joseph b. abt 1845 MO Adaline b. abt 1849 MO Information taken from 1850 Daviess Co. MO Census. No Older male listed. So, Stephen's Father died between 1848 and 49. Found a Stephan Runels listed in the 1840 Clinton Co. Census that fits the above family. In April of 1837 Stephen Woolsey Reynolds of Carroll Co. MO. was granted a Land Grant in Livingston Co.MO. and Sept. of 1838 in Caldwell Co. MO. For right now, I am assuming he is the Father of the above children but would like to find documented proof and more information on the above families. Thank you Reynda
