Would you be able to provide me with more info on your Elliot lines--do they connect with Watkins or Edds by any chance? My information is sketchy but is as follows: Jeremiah Laney m. Sophia Amanda McAfee. Their son, Archibald McAfee Laney m. as a 2nd wife Elizabeth Jane b. abt 1840 and resided in Billings Co., MO. The Laney family records show her as Elizabeth Elliot, but the Watkins family cites Elizabeth as being the dau of Frank Watkins.
