In the early years (1850-1880) were there any communities near what later became Cedar Springs (Balm) that would have had general store, doctor, etc.? Would Jerico Springs have been a community then, even though it wasn't incorporated until the early 1880s? Ditto El Dorado Springs? My ancestor, Henry Hubbard, lived in Cedar County, Cedar Township.
