You asked about the Omer cemetery. It is in Linn township in Cedar county, just north of the county line adjoining Dade County. Omer was once a town, but the only thing left is an old abandoned store building and the cemetery. The cemetery is well kept and still used. If you look at the Cedar county USGenWeb site and click on the township maps, you will find Omer cemetery in Linn township listed as number 11. It's always fun to find a new cousin too! I haven't been able to locate Omer, MO on any map yet. Do you know where that is? I do know he died before 1900 at which time his family was living in Linn Township, MO. I am partiuclarly interested in Margaret's maiden name because she may be a cousin of Mark's. Any hard evidence that it was Hatch? You can contact me at tbentum@hotmail.com and I will give you more information on the Carlows. ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to MOCEDAR-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
