We have John, Mary Jane, Charles, Samuel, Phineas and Sarah and Elizabeth. I have never ran across Reason or Phillip though, and these certainly could have came from the Roberds or Danley families. Where in Kentucky did Phineas I and Ruth Danley settle? I have found a Cox family that began in Pennsylvania that had Phineas and Dorcus/Dorcas among their names who I believe have some connection to my Phineas Cox born in Halifax County Va. in 1764, but cannot prove. Phineas Cox and Barbara Stump settled in Bowling Green, Warren County, Kentucky. Their son Samuel Cox and wife Mary Turner moved to Montgomery County, Missouri with many of their children and then on to Cedar County, Missouri with their son Charles Cox and his wife 1. Nancy Angeline Freeman 2. Lydia Mahalia Collins (married 1. Stahl). I have not been able to locate the burial site for Samuel Cox or Mary Turner. I have not been able to take my Cox family outside the U! nited States so have no idea of the origin. I would love to make a connection with our families.
