Cindy, I have copies of other letters of administration or wills probated after the husband's death. It should be found in 1879 or 1880. Maybe there is also a will made by the wife and that would be probated after she died, too. But this brings up something else. Is there someone on this list who has been in the Cedar County courthouse? Please describe what it is like when you do genealogy work there. I am wondering if others besides Cindy and I have been turned down when we asked for records by mail. How are you treated if you go in person? Regards from a disappointed Margie Bridges
