After reseraching family roots for the last 30 years and reading all the patriotism in letters that I had of my great great grandfather in the civil war from Dade County, I don't see how any of us can every sit back and allow all that they have fought to keep free for us to be lost in vain by allowing any congressional representative deny any of our rights in the second amendment--the right to keep and bear arms. What would have happen to any of our Dade County ancestors either Confederate or Union if they had not had their guns to defend their families. Not to be political, but its our freedom and each and everyone of our ancestors regardless of which side they stood on was doing what they thought was right and I can see the good on both sides. Hats off to those who fought so hard to give us what we have today!! Let's do our part to help keep it that way!!!! ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, May 28, 2001 3:12 AM Subject: Re: [MOCEDAR] Veterans, please sound off > In a message dated 5/27/01 10:35:18 PM Pacific Daylight Time, > [email protected] writes: > > << > List Members, for the next 24 hours I'm going to open up the list topic in > honor of our Veterans. >> > > Thanks so much, I will be glad to hear this.
