I don't know if wife Mary is the mother of his children. An unofficial family genealogy states that Elizabeth Clay was the mother of his children. A James Miller married an Elizabeth Clay in 1824 in Clay Co., MO. Who is the James Miller who married Mary Cook on 14 November 1847 in Cedar County? Is it this James? Uriah married Nancy Hooten in 1851; Clement married Elizabeth Church in 1857, and Mariza married James Cook in 1853 all in Cedar County.
