My g.g.grandparents are buried in Hackleman Cem: Volney Cline 1820-1869 and Amanda A. Cline 1825-1876. I have no idea where in Cedar Co. they lived, why they moved their or if Volney served in the Civil War. When Amanda died in 1876 all the children lived with a Anthony and Nancy Kissinger family. The childrens names are: David Burrows (called Burrows) b. 1856 Carroll Co. Mo.; Mable W. b.1859 Carroll Co.; Volney II b. 1860 ; William Henry b. 1863; Robert Guthrie 1866 either Stockton Co. or Carroll Co. and Jesse b. 1868. All their children were born in Mo. All with the exception of Robert Guthrie migraded to Okla. and Col. Amanda's maiden name is Burrows (From Tenn. to Carroll Co., Mo.). In the 1860 census is says Volney was born in Ill. I would like to fine out if their is any relation to the Kissinger family and Cline family? Would appreciate any info on these families....Many thanks..Lee Kirtley [email protected]
