One of the daughters of Thomas English, Mary Polly, married John Fanning before Feb. 1847. they received land from Thomas at that time. I do not know if he died or they separated. She later was married to a Caskey. I do not know if this is the same Fanning who was a neighbor. I believe they may have been in the Cane Hill Area. Pat
