Now where THomas comes in is another subject. I will send info to you as I find it from them. Maybe we can all get together, share info and find some common ground. The family had roots in VA, NC and moved into TN. About 1815 Thomas and his family came to MO. They are found on the Ray County Census for 1830. By 1840 they are in Cedar Co. area. The Inglish/English was interchangeable. My great grandmother, Martha Jane, is listed as Inglish on her marriage certificate. I think she continued to spell it with an I. I noticed all the papers from the documents I have from LA. the name is spelled with an E.
