Your research reveals a spelling of Linquist rather than Lindquist. That explains why I couldn't find any hits searching for Lindquist. I will go back and look again. There are a number of coincidences in the data but also a number of discrepancies. More research is required to make any conclusions. I am confused by the footnote for William John Linquist. My info from the census shows William J. Lindquist is the son of John Henry Lindquist but the dates don't jive. Thanks, Jerry Buthmann
