I, too, was upset. It looked like something could be fixed. When I visited Stockton after the tornado, I was disturbed and upset. A picture of the old jail (that we used to walk past on the way home from school) is not the same as having the building. Is it another thing we have to give up, or is there someone aggressive enough to fight for its restoration? Billie (Alberti) Denny
I would be willing to help see what could be done, but I don't know how to go about things like that. They put in new carpet upstairs and added new windows, and a new roof. I think the 3rd roof, I wonder was that too much weight?? Now, they just want to tear it down. As far as I know they didn't ask for my or anyone for that matter what we thought.
