I also found a John Henry Davidson born June 25 or 26, 1841 Birthplace Looks like Warren County Kentucky, near Bowling Green. Father was Alfred (L. looks like) Davidson Mother: Mary J. Marriage, birth and death dates, hopefully? I'm thinking our Hopkins are probably related, but I can't trace very far back on the Hopkins line. My great-great-grandmother Mary Ann Hopkins married Henry Hubbard. Her mother's maiden name was Kennedy. She had married a Hopkins and had four children (including my g-g-grandmother) and after Hopkins died she married a man with the last name Surrat, or Surret; it's hard to read it on the census report. What was your great-grandma Anderson's first name? Do you think we're talking about the same Hopkins family? Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. There isn't a Solomon Williams buried at Lindley Prairie Cemetery. There is a "Lucy P., wife of Solomon P. Williams" buried there. This is my gggrandmother, Lucy Angeline (Reynolds) Williams. We were there this summer and the P. with Lucy's name should be read as an "A". It is getting blurry. Solomon and Lucy had six girls, Georgeann, Elizabeth Ann, Sallie Ann, Jennie Ann, Millie Ann, and Fanny Ann. After Lucy's death, Solomon married Olive Weaver and had four more children: William, Alpha, Lillian and Mabel. They moved to Kansas and then to Washington state. His oldest daughter, Georgeann married James Post and, supposedly they lived in the Cedar Co. area a good while before going to Washington territory in 1880. So far I have not found proof of this. Solomon owned property which is now under Stockton Lake.

WIFE OF Solomon Williams. This is my great-great-grandmother. We think the P. is actually an A. but has become blurred over time. Her name was Lucy Angeline (Reynolds) Williams, wife of Solomon Perry Williams. He remarried and died in Washington State. Anyone thinking they be connected with this family, I would love to talk with. Their oldest daughter, Georgiann Williams Post supposedly lived in this area as well, but I have found no evidence of that. She was married to James Post. I was there this summer and have a picture of my gggrandmother's headstone. Solomon was born in TN, where we don't know. His father was William Williams, born in North Carolina.
