I've been seeing several requests for look ups on the Query board, I think a better place for those is either to visit the Cedar Co., MOGenWeb site at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~mocedar/index.htm Go to the look up volunteer page and see if there is a volunteer for what you need Oh and BTW if you would like to volunteer to do look ups it would be much appreciated. Another place to post a message for a look up is: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/Special/LookUps Luck to all, goodness my letter 'c' is sticking, got to go operate on the keyboard. This may make everyone happy and will be the last time I'm heard from. <g> Kay

Hi Becky; Cora Jane Sutton's father was Isaiah Sutton born in Rush County, Indiana 1834. He moved to Jasper County, Illinios with his family and married Lytha Ann Manley in Coles County, Illinois. Lytha Ann's father was William Manley who was married to Nancy Hamilton they moved to Missouri and I have a feeling that is why Lytha Ann and Isaiah move to Missouri. It doesn't sound like there is a connection but let me know if there is anything else I can do for you. Posted on: Cedar Co., Mo Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Mo/Cedar/807 Surname: Lannon ------------------------- I just bought some land here in Cedar Co., MO.. I found a headstone with the name Thomas Lannon - only inscription was "died July 5, 1899." Research has determined his wife was Mary J. Lannon DOB 11/17/1842, died 1/13/1889, buried in Moore Catholic Cem (Cedar Co.). I have a platte map dated 1878 with his name. I would love to know as much as possible - any and all help truly appreciated.
Margie - so far our Moore's are coming to Missouri from Wayne Co Missouri but we don't know about siblings of Jonathan Moore - if there are any. So will watch for a connection. No straggling Martha either. But you never know....I keep finding pleasant surprises! CIndy In a message dated 11/09/2000 4:01:13 AM Central Standard Time, [email protected] writes: << Dear Cindy, There doesnt seem to be an immediate connection to your Moores, but I have a Martha Moore who married Daniel E. Davis up in Macon Co., but moved down to Cedar Co. before 1868. Martha's parents, per her death certificate in 1911 at Stockton, were John Moore and Prudent Chrisman of TN. Haven't found any Chrisman in Tennessee and too many Johns, so that is unverified. I have often thought that Martha and Daniel moved to Cedar Co. to be near relatives, but I haven't found those relatives on either side. In case you find a loose Martha, let me know. Hi There was an Amos Malcolm who was a 2 cousin to my Grandfather Floyd William Dodd. My grandfather parents were William Walter Dodd and Cora Jane Sutton. Cora Jane's mother was Lytha Ann Manley and Lytha Ann Manley's father was William Manley who was a brother to Benjamin Manley the father of your William Tell Manley. I think I have this straight. Do you have any information on William Tell's daughters who married the Malcolm's?
