I would love to help if I can. >> Genia, I wish I could tell you who my Jones family is. My grandfather was John William Jones and he was born in Steelville, Crawford County, MO in 1872. He was orphaned young and went to live with relatives and then went to work for the Marsh family and had found a home. He said his father was Ferguson McDoanld Jones and his mother was Caroline Smith and his death certificate, which was badly mispelled, said his father was born in PA?? I was hoping to hook up with the james B. Jones family but just don't know. he had an Uncle Thomas Jones who had daughters Nora and Zelma. I think he had an Uncle Samuel that married a Rhoda A. Moldian but I think they were from a first wife of Ferguson. I believe that John William had a brother named Henry that married charity Eva palmer. I think Ferguson was married forst to Mary Stockton. Does any of this make sense. My father was Carl McDonald Jones and there was Essie and Eva and Doy and Elmer as his brothers and sisters. My father was born 1900 but moved to IL in about 1835. Does any of this sound familiar??? Thanks, Juanita Jones Johnson

can you tell me if anyone is searching the Jones family? Thanks, Juanita Jones Johnson
I have Cedar County cemetery book. Just want to make sure Froman was her last name at time of death. I find W.E. Forman in Liberty Cemetery in Linn Township in Cedar Co., MO. I have two different books and this is all that I find in either one of them. I also check in my St. Clair County book and found nothing. There are several Beelers buried at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Cedar County. That listing, especially for the Beelers, is on the Cedar County History home page.
