    3. Hi David, the only KY background I know of in these people is the niece of Benjamin McDonald, Sarah Ann McDonald Stevens (wife of James Stanley Stevens). Benjamin was apparently a Bigwig businessman in Pleasant Hill, judging from his obit, and he and Sarah both came from Green County KY (Osceola). I don't recognize any of the other names you post as part of this family. Does everybody know that the 1880 census is available free at familysearch.org now? Fascinating to roam around and see who were the neighbors.     3. Nancy, Thanks and you are right, roaming through the census and checking neighbors is a good link to finding family ties, as many children of families listed, married neighbors.
