Hello, Jayne, Interesting to pick up that Texas connection! My husband and I drove back through this area of OK last winter after a Christmas visit with family in Kansas. The country around Apache (Caddo County) reminds me of the Cass County, MO, Miami County, KS area where I grew up. My great grandparents moved to Apache sometime around 1905 and stayed until their deaths in the 1920s, and all of their children stayed around there too except my grandfather who came back to Miami County to marry his sweetheart, my grandmother. They raised their family of 7 on a Miami County farm. We are connected to GILLOGLY, CANFIELD, HUBER and many other families who are or were in Caddo County. I don't know of any family connection to your Wilsons, but I imagine our families were acquainted, having made a similar move at more or less the same time.
